Have you ever faced a situation where you would have been breaking your head to find a solution to a problem ? A problem so big, that it would have occupied your mindspace for days.
The only thing that you would have had on your mind is that one issue you are trying to overcome. From when you rise in the morning, to every spare moment you have, in some cases you might not even have a moment where that big issue would have been out of your thoughts. Even your dreams would be filled with the same set of thoughts.
You would have spent days trying to dissect the issue from every possible angle, follow the trail of thoughts, try to connect every single dot and yet you would have found yourself just where you started. The end would seem no where in sight.
And then, out of no where, at the most unlikeliest of times, in the most unlikeliest place, when you probably weren’t even thinking about it anymore, you get solution to your problem.
All the hours you would have spent on analysis, logic, structure out of the window, the solution would seem like it has actually fallen into your hands out of thin air. The idea would seem self generated, not connected with a trail of thoughts to lead you to it. You would feel like you have stumbled into the solution as a completely unconnected thought.
The only thing it would leave you with is wonder.
This is your subconscious mind helping you . Your subconscious mind forms almost 90% of your mindspace.
Your mind has two distinct characteristic and functional parts. The conscious mind, which is the voluntary and objective, and you have the subconscious mind, which is involuntary mind and is subjective.
Conscious mind is rational, all the thinking that you do is carried out by this part.
The subconscious mind is neutral, it reacts and responds to the thoughts and feeds the reactions back to the conscious mind. Every order or command the conscious mind gives, will be blindly accepted and worked upon by the subconscious mind.
Your subconscious mind is always working in background. Taking care of functions we don’t even realise it is going on. The subconscious is also building patterns that it notices over time.
The subconscious is also the part of your mind that stores all your memories. From events that have taken place in your life, even to movements, the subconscious stores all of it.
Think about it, when you learn to write , you have to put all your effort into how you move your hands to make a pattern, which is what we call our handwritings. But over time, we no longer have to look at the paper while we are writing. It all seems to happen automatically. This is how the subconscious makes our lives easy, by developing and creating muscle memories.
All the events that you face in your life will also impact the subconscious mind. Remember, how as kids we would not do something you fear your parents might not approve of. And you would have also noticed it would have taken a while for you to come over that fear.
All the experiences you have changes your subconscious thinking patterns, which shapes us into who we are. The stories you hear from others and whatever emotion you experience yourself all ends up in a corner of your subconscious mind. Even things that you might have forgotten a long time ago, or events you didn’t even care to pay attention to would be lurking in some deep in your subconscious.
Ideas that you get out of nowhere are not really without any trail, these would be thrown at you by all your experiences and your belief system held deep in your subconscious. This is how your subconscious will help you find the solution to every problem and the cause for every effect. Your subconscious mind is the storehouse of infinite intelligence and is also very sensitive and obedient to your conscious mind. Though invisible, its forces are mighty and the reason why it is termed as God, Universe or Source.
