In the previous post, I spoke about what your subconscious is. In this post I want to tell you about the infinite power of your subconscious. The humungous impact it has on our thinking and how it all impacts our lives. What shapes it and how you can take control of it.
Imagine, you’re just back home, you’re trying to get into your house and you don’t find your keys to your door. What’s the first thought that would come to your mind ?
Do you just look if you have it in any other pocket in your bag or so calmly try to remember when you last had it ? Or do you think you have dropped it somewhere ? Or do you go straight into panic mode, thinking about all the valuables in the house, now that you don’t seem to find your keys ?
Which one of these seems mostly like the way you would react ?

This is the work of your subconscious.
As you read in the previous post, your conscious is the logical part of your brain. That part of the brain you use for analyzing things.
Your subconscious on the other hand is the store house.
What happened on your first year birthday party. What was your parent’s reaction when your first called them “ma” or “pa” ? What you did on your first day at school. Who did you sit next to ?
Every event you would have witnessed, every single thought that you would have had since childhood, would still be lurking somewhere deep in your subconscious. It just wont make it through to your conscious, so you would not actively recollect it, but, it would be lurking in some deep corner of your subconscious brain.
How does this shape your thinking ?
Apart from storing all the information and memories, your subconscious builds patterns.
While your conscious mind sees as unrelated events, your subconscious sees a pattern. Your subconscious sees patterns in results, in people’s behavior and in events.
Optimism , hope, despair, doubts, fears, all reactions to any situation, event or person, is all due the patterns that your subconscious mind tends to see.
These patterns that your subconscious sees, is what the mind ends up believing in it. This becomes your mindset. So if you have had some case where you might have had issues of losing some things or have heard of someone close who has lost a valuable, your subconscious would also feed the same thought, the moment you don’t find something like your keys in your pocket.
Mind works on the “Law of belief”. Your mind works to believe in the belief itself and belief in your mind is what brings about results. Beliefs are nothing but thoughts and the more you power your thoughts, the stronger your belief.
Thought is a budding action and the reaction to the thought is the response from the subconscious mind which will always correspond to the nature of your thought. Thoughts consistently being used towards situations, circumstances, people, possessions and events eventually starts forming your belief system and so it is very essential to ensure your thoughts are full of positive outcomes, abundance, success, harmony, health, peace and goodwill.
